Vertical Panel Saw Blades

We stock carbide-tipped vertical panel saw blades for virtually every saw on the planet — from 7¼" blades for Makita-powered Saw Trax saws all the way up to 300mm blades for Striebig, plus everything in between for Safety Speed, Milwaukee, Holz-Her, Hendrick, Powermatic, Elcon, GMC, and Putsch Meniconi. Whatever you're running, there is a blade here built to fit it and built to last.

These are industrial, production-grade blades — not throwaway hardware-store stock. Every blade is tipped with premium tungsten carbide that holds its edge through long production runs and can be resharpened many times over, so a single blade delivers thousands of clean cuts and an exceptional cost-per-cut over its life. Quality carbide, precision-ground geometry, and tensioned plates are what separate a clean, glue-ready edge from chipped melamine and wasted sheets.

Good to know: all our metric (30mm-bore) blades ship with a universal pinhole pattern (2/7/42, 2/9/46, 2/10/60) that fits every 30mm-bore vertical panel saw that uses pin holes — so you don't have to match a specific pattern.

Choosing the right tooth geometry

No single blade does everything well. The blade that gives a crisp, chip-free edge in particle-board-core melamine is not the blade you want for solid surface, aluminum, or ripping solid stock. Match the blade to both your saw and your material:

  • Hollow-face — The crisp-cutting standard for melamine and veneer plys. The concave tooth face produces a sharp upper corner that slices the surface cleanly. Requires a sharpener equipped to maintain that geometry.
  • Hi-ATB (high alternate top bevel) — A premium grind for the most delicate melamines and veneers where surface finish is critical.
  • ATB (alternate top bevel) — A popular, economical choice for veneer plys. Cuts beautifully and is easily resharpened by most local shops.
  • TCG (triple chip grind) — General-purpose TCG blades with a moderate tooth count and positive hook are durable all-rounders with long edge life. For solid surface and aluminum, choose a high-tooth-count TCG blade with a negative hook angle.
  • Ripping blades — Low tooth counts for fast, efficient ripping of solid stock.
  • Plastic-specific blades — High-tooth TCG for hard plastics like acrylic; low-tooth ATB for soft plastics like nylon and polypropylene.
