Picture Frame Saw Blades (Aluminum)

These are aluminum, non-ferrous, and plastic picture frame saw blades for double miter and miter machines such as CTD, Pistorius, Brevetti, and Emmegi. Cutting metal and plastic frame stock at a miter is unforgiving: the wrong grind chips an aluminum extrusion, melts a plastic profile, or leaves a burr right at the corner. Every blade here is industrial-grade carbide-tipped and ground specifically for clean, chip-free miters in these materials.

Match the grind to the material

Aluminum & non-ferrous. A triple-chip grind (TCG) is the correct geometry for aluminum, brass, copper, and composite-metal extrusions. The staggered high-and-low tooth profile shears the metal cleanly and resists chipping, and a low or negative hook keeps the blade from grabbing the extrusion. High tooth counts (80 to 120) keep the cut smooth on thin-wall frame profiles.

Plastic. For acrylic, PVC, and other plastic frame profiles, a modified triple-chip (M-TCG) "no-melt" grind clears the chip and limits heat buildup so the cut edge stays clean instead of melting and re-welding behind the blade.

What's stocked

We carry aluminum, non-ferrous, and plastic frame blades from 10" through 15" in 60 to 120 teeth, with 5/8", 1", and 32mm bores to match your machine's spindle. Blades are offered in a premium German-made line (LORNA Industrial) and a value line (Popular Tools). Any blade can be modified to fit a different bore if needed.

Made to fit your machine

These are aftermarket blades made to fit a wide range of picture frame, double miter, and cut-off saws. If you need a different bore or a custom pin pattern to fit your CTD, Pistorius, Brevetti, or Emmegi machine, any blade can be modified to fit. For general aluminum and non-ferrous cutting beyond frame work, see our aluminum & non-ferrous saw blades. Carbide-tipped teeth resharpen many times over, keeping your cost-per-cut low. Brand names are the property of their respective owners.
