Our general-purpose saw blades are no-gimmick industrial saw blades with either alternating top bevel (ATB) or triple-chip grind (TCG) teeth.

ATB - This is the most common tooth geometry. It is best used when cross-cutting softwood. It can be used to rip along the grain, but not recommended. This is also the best choice when cutting materials like plywood, veneers, or lattice.

TCG - A woodworking saw blade with a TCG grind is best used on harder materials such as MDF, single-sided laminates, and hardwoods. If your material is double-sided laminate, use a blade with a Hi-ATB grind, such as our Melamine saw blades.
