Popular Tools is the inventory backbone of our catalog. With over 430 SKUs in stock and a 99.99% in-stock reliability record, Popular Tools is the brand you reach for when you need a quality industrial saw blade on the truck today — not next week.
Why we carry Popular Tools
The saw blade market has plenty of options. Almost none match Popular Tools for raw stock depth. They've been making industrial circular saw blades in Taiwan for decades, and they've built their reputation on two things: a deep, deep catalog, and the discipline to actually keep that catalog in stock.
What that means for you: if your machine needs a specific diameter, tooth count, hook angle, kerf, and bore — the Popular Tools blade for that spec is almost certainly sitting on our shelf right now. And if it's not, our partner machine shop can modify a stock blade to your exact spec in 1-3 business days.
What we stock
Popular Tools' catalog spans every major industrial sawing application:
- Stacked dado sets (DA series) — 6", 8", 10", and 12" diameters, positive and negative hook variants, 5/8" and 1" bore options
- Replacement outside blades for dado stacks — right-hand and left-hand pairs, multiple kerfs
- Replacement chippers for dado stacks — full-body construction, 1/16" to 1/4" kerfs
- Table saw blades — combination, rip, crosscut, plywood, melamine, and laminate-cutting geometries
- Industrial blades for cabinet shop production, millwork operations, and OEM machining
- Negative-hook blades for radial arm saws, sliding compound miter saws, and melamine work
The engineering that sets Popular Tools apart
Popular Tools chippers feature laser-cut bodies that remove nearly half the steel from the chipper plate. Reduced rotational mass means faster arbor spin-up, less vibration, easier startup on lower-HP saws, and quieter operation under load — without compromising carbide tip strength or chipper structural integrity. It's a small detail you'll feel every time the saw comes up to speed.
Outside blades and standalone saw blades use first-class steel saw bodies with brazed carbide tips, ground for tight tolerances. The whole line is engineered for long service life — these aren't disposable blades, they're tools that will hold up to years of production work.
Custom modifications — handled in-house
Popular Tools operates a full machine shop with wire EDM, precision lathes, and mills. They can bore the center hole to a custom arbor size, add pinhole drive patterns (3+3, 2+2, or custom), cut keyways, or split blades for specialized mounting.
- Ships in 1-3 business days for in-house Popular Tools modifications
- Rush option: $30 per blade for priority handling
- Tight tolerances and minimal runout, even on heavily modified blades
This is the answer if you own an older European machine, an Asian-import sliding table saw, or any production rig with a non-standard arbor or pinhole pattern. More about custom modifications →

What's the right blade really cost?
Purchase price is the easy thing to see — but it's not the right number to compare. What matters is the cost per cut over the blade's full lifecycle. See our full cost-per-cut breakdown for production shops →
