Carbide-tipped tree trimmer saw blades for the machines that keep right-of-way clear. Our 24 inch blades are made to fit Jarraff all-terrain tree trimmers and Kershaw SkyTrim telescoping trimmers, and our 20 inch blades suit boom saws and trimmer heads that run a smaller blade. Every one is built for green wood, high rim speed and the side loading a trimmer head puts on a saw.
Tree trimmer blades for Jarraff and Kershaw SkyTrim
Jarraff all-terrain trimmers and Kershaw SkyTrim telescoping trimmers both run a 24 inch carbide-tipped saw blade on a 1-1/2 inch arbor. Utility contractors, rail maintenance crews, highway departments and vegetation management companies use them to cut back limbs along power lines, rail corridors, pipelines and roadsides. Every 24 inch blade in this collection matches that diameter and bore, so it drops straight onto the saw head.
Running a skid steer, excavator or tractor-mounted tree saw that takes a 24 inch blade? Those heads vary in arbor size, so check yours before ordering. Any blade here can be rebored or modified to fit your machine.

Solid plate or copper-plugged expansion slots
Most tree trimmer saw heads call for a solid plate with no expansion slots, and that is how the TREE, ROW and JARF blades are built. For heads that run hot through long shifts, the KSW2472 and ROW2472X8CP add copper-plugged expansion slots. The slots let the plate grow as it heats without warping, and the copper plugs keep the blade quiet and stable at speed.
TREE or ROW series: which to choose
The TREE series is the original Popular Tools tree trimming blade. The ROW series is built on a German saw body with a slightly smaller carbide tip and delivers the same cutting performance at a lower price per blade. For fleets that change blades often, the ROW series keeps your cost-per-cut down without giving up speed or finish.
Picking kerf and plate thickness
A .260 inch kerf on a .180 inch plate is the heavy-duty choice. The thicker plate stays straighter under side load, which matters when the saw head is reaching into big limbs or taking hard daily use. A .245 inch kerf on a .165 inch plate is a lighter blade that takes a little less power from the head and costs less. If you are replacing a blade, match the kerf your crew already runs so the saw head and guard clearances stay the same.

Tree trimmer saw blade FAQ
What size saw blade does a Jarraff tree trimmer use?
Jarraff all-terrain tree trimmers run a 24 inch carbide-tipped saw blade. Our 24 inch tree blades have the 1-1/2 inch bore used on Jarraff saw heads.
What blade fits a Kershaw SkyTrim?
The Kershaw SkyTrim telescoping trimmer uses a 24 inch carbide-tipped saw. Any of our 24 inch, 1-1/2 inch bore tree trimming blades are made to fit it.
Will these blades fit my skid steer or excavator tree saw?
Many skid steer and excavator tree saw attachments also run a 24 inch carbide blade, but arbor sizes vary by brand. Check your arbor size before ordering. We can rebore any blade or add pinholes to fit your saw head.
Do I need expansion slots on a tree trimmer blade?
Most tree trimmer heads are set up for a solid plate. Choose a copper-plugged blade (KSW2472 or ROW2472X8CP) if your saw head runs hot for long periods and you want the extra heat tolerance.
Can tree trimming blades be resharpened?
Yes. The carbide-tipped teeth resharpen many times, and worn or damaged tips can be replaced, which keeps the cost per cut low over a full trimming season.
