Double miter saws (also spelled double mitre) cut both ends of a frame member in one operation, with two heads set to opposing angles. Because both corners are cut at once, blade accuracy and a clean, chip-free edge are everything: a frame only closes tight if every cut is dead-on. Every blade in this collection is industrial-grade carbide-tipped and ground for the precise, splinter-free miters that picture framing, moulding, and component work demand, whether you're cutting wood, non-ferrous metal, or man-made material.
These blades fit the common industrial double miter and miter machines, including CTD, Pistorius, Brevetti (Prisma Maxi), Haffner, and Emmegi.

What's stocked
We carry double miter and picture frame blades from 10" through 15" and 250mm through 550mm, in 80 to 120 teeth, with 5/8", 1", 30mm, and 32mm bores to match the spindle on your machine. Grinds cover alternating top bevel (ATB) and ATB with a raker (ATB+R) for clean corners in wood and soft man-made stock, and triple-chip grind (TCG) for aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Blades are offered in a premium German-made line (LORNA Industrial) and a value line (Popular Tools).
Match the blade to the material
Wood, MDF, and moulding. Alternating top bevel (ATB) gives a clean, fine crosscut on solid wood and moulding profiles. ATB with a raker (ATB+R) adds a flat-topped tooth that keeps the bottom of the cut flat and crisp, which is what you want at a frame corner. These are the LORNA DMA and Popular Tools moulding blades.
Aluminum and non-ferrous. A triple-chip grind (TCG) is the correct geometry for aluminum, brass, copper, and composite-metal frame stock. The staggered tooth profile shears the metal cleanly and resists chipping, and these blades carry a low or negative hook so the blade can't grab the extrusion.
Man-made material. Composite mouldings, plastics, and laminated profiles cut cleanest on a TCG or ATB+R blade depending on the material โ match the grind to whether the stock behaves more like wood or more like metal.
How to choose a double miter blade
Diameter and bore. Match both to your machine. Double miter and frame saws use specific bore sizes (commonly 30mm and 32mm on European machines, 5/8" and 1" on others), so confirm the spindle before ordering. Any blade can be modified to fit a different bore if needed.
Tooth count. More teeth give a finer finish for thin frame stock and fine mouldings; fewer teeth clear chips faster in heavier sections.
Hook angle. Frame and double miter blades run a low or negative hook so the blade feeds smoothly without grabbing the workpiece, which protects both the cut and the corner.
Made to fit your machine
These are aftermarket blades made to fit a wide range of double miter, single miter, and picture frame saws. If you need a different bore or a custom pin pattern to fit your CTD, Pistorius, Brevetti, Haffner, or Emmegi machine, any blade can be modified to fit. Carbide-tipped teeth resharpen many times over, keeping your cost-per-cut low. Brand names are the property of their respective owners.
