Twenty different cut widths from 1/4" to 29/32" — including the undersized plywood cuts (15/32" and 23/32") that real cabinet shops actually use. The Super Stack 8" dado set from LORNA Industrial delivers dead-flat dado bottoms with minimal tear-out in solid wood, hardwood, plywood, and MDF on any table saw with 1-1/2 HP or more.
What's in the 8-piece Super Stack set
- 2 × 8" outside blades — 42 teeth each (1 right-hand, 1 left-hand), 10° positive hook angle for clean shoulders and smooth feed
-
6 × full-body 6-tooth chippers:
- 4 × 1/8" kerf
- 1 × 3/32" kerf
- 1 × 1/16" kerf
- Brass shim set for dialing in width to the thousandth
- Stack chart and instructions
- Cardboard storage box for safe handling and storage
Why the Super Stack
- 20 cut widths — covers every common dado, groove, rabbet, and tenon dimension you'll cut
- Fits real plywood — dedicated stack combos for undersized 1/2" (15/32") and 3/4" (23/32") sheet goods, no shim wrestling required
- True flat bottoms — opposing-hand outside blades score the wood fibers cleanly so dado floors come out flat with no "bat-wings"
- Minimal tear-out — clean cuts in solid wood, plywood, MDF, and melamine
- Industrial carbide — re-sharpenable for long service life

- 5/8" arbor
- ⚠ NOT compatible with SawStop table saws. Do not install on any SawStop machine.
Setup & safety
- Outside saws always mount on the outside of the stack, chippers between them — high point of each outside blade's carbide tips faces outward
- Never run chippers without both outside saws installed
- Verify your material thickness before assembling the stack
- Clean dust, chips, and debris from all blades and chippers before assembly
- Confirm rotation direction on every blade and chipper before tightening
- For deep dadoes or low-power saws, make multiple passes at progressively deeper settings
- Feed at a steady rate with material fully supported and pressed firmly against the table
- Always follow OSHA guidelines, wear eye protection, and keep hands clear of rotating tools

Frequently asked questions
New to dado sets, or not sure if this is the right setup for your shop?
Our complete dado set buying guide walks through 6" vs 8" sizing, tooth count, stack charts, undersized plywood compatibility, HP requirements, and the SawStop question.
Will this work with my SawStop?
No. This dado set is not recommended for SawStop table saws. Do not install on any SawStop machine.
What size table saw do I need?
1-1/2 HP minimum with a 5/8" arbor and dado capability (long arbor with the splitter/guard removable). Most contractor and cabinet saws qualify.
Does it cut real-world (undersized) plywood?
Yes — this is one of the standout features. Dedicated stack combinations produce 15/32" (for 1/2" plywood) and 23/32" (for 3/4" plywood) without shim-stack guesswork.
What's the widest cut I can make in one pass?
29/32" using both outside blades, all four 1/8" chippers, the 3/32" chipper, and the 1/16" chipper.
Is there a storage case?
Yes — the set ships in a sturdy cardboard storage box.
Can the blades be re-sharpened?
Yes. Standard carbide-tip sharpening — most local sharpening services can handle it.
Can the bore be modified for a different arbor size?
Yes — we work with a full machine shop that can modify the bore to your exact spec. Typical lead time is 5 business days, with a $30/blade rush option available. Call (855) 628-7297 for a quote.
