Popular Tools' 6-inch stacked dado set for benchtop and smaller table saws. The DA620 is sized for hobbyist shops and contractor-class saws that don't have the horsepower or arbor length for a full 8" stack. Two 20-tooth outside blades with 20ยฐ positive hook and 4-tooth chippers cut flat-bottom dadoes and grooves in solid wood, plywood, and MDF.

What's included

  • 2 ร— 6" outside blades โ€” 20 teeth each, matched right-hand and left-hand pair, 20ยฐ positive hook
  • 4-tooth full-body chippers in multiple kerfs for adjustable stack width
  • Shim set
  • Wooden storage case

Why Popular Tools chippers

Popular Tools chippers feature laser-cut bodies that remove nearly half the steel from the chipper plate. Reduced rotational mass means faster spin-up, less vibration on the arbor, easier startup, and quieter operation under load โ€” without compromising carbide tip strength or chipper structural integrity. It's a small detail you'll feel every time the saw comes up to speed.

  • 5/8" arbor

Setup & safety

  • Confirm rotation direction on every piece before tightening
  • Make a test cut in scrap to verify width before cutting workpieces

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my SawStop?
No. This dado set is not compatible with SawStop table saws.

What's the minimum table saw I need?
1 HP minimum with a 5/8" arbor and dado capability. Most contractor and benchtop saws qualify โ€” check your owner's manual.

Why a 6" set instead of an 8"?
6" dado sets require less horsepower, fit shorter arbors, and are easier on smaller saws. If your saw can handle an 8" set, our 8" options offer more cutting depth.

Can the blades be re-sharpened?
Yes. Standard carbide-tip sharpening โ€” most local sharpening services can handle it.
